We trawled the web and found an example of how a hotel brand captured the imaginations of newly wed couples in New York. Using 4-D virtual reality technology.

Marriott, a leading global hotel brand is leveraging virtual reality to allow consumers to experience holiday destinations around the world. They created a brand activation outside the City Hall in New York where hundreds of couples get married each day. Marriott set up a telephone booth-like activation stand which allowed guests to teleport to honeymoon destinations around the world.

Guests would start feeling a warm breeze whishing past their faces and a cool mist chilling their bodies. When they opened their eyes, they had been teleported to an exotic beachfront resort in Hawaii. A 4-D brand experience that captured consumer’s imaginations.
